Red arrow Related Application Note: Live Cell Imaging of Apoptosis and Necrosis

Cells are treated with cytotoxic compounds. We investigate apoptosis and necrosis over 48 hours using high contrast brightfield imaging in combination with fluorescent probes for apoptotic marker pSIVA (green fluorescence) and necrotic cell death marker prodidium iodide (PI, red fluorescence).
