The resolving power of an imaging system is the foundation of successful data analysis. This experiment compares a 20x air objective(0.45 NA)to a 100x oil immersion objective(1.42 NA)for the count of sub-micron objects (centromeres) in cell nuclei. Cell nuclei are stained with DAPI and centromeres (CENP-A) areimmunostainedwith Texas Red-labeled antibodies.
